Yunfan's Unique Approach
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine practice used for thousands of years. It involves placing fine, hair-thin needles at specific points to restore balance in the body, calm the nervous system, and support overall health and well-being.
Yin Yang Healing
Yin Yang Healing is an ancient Chinese energy healing modality that predates acupuncture and herbal medicine. It harmonises Yin and Yang, allowing the body to rebalance and heal through profound energetic transformation.
Combined Approach
By integrating acupuncture with Yin Yang Healing, treatments become deeper, more efficient, and more effective than using either method alone. This combined approach supports the body’s natural healing mechanisms, enhances physical and emotional balance, and promotes holistic well-being.

Yunfan's Journey to Healing
Hi! I'm Yunfan. I was previously a Civil and Environmental Engineer, but over ten years ago, a severe health crisis changed the direction of my life. As a last resort before surgery, I turned to Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, and after just two treatments, my health was fully restored. The experience was so profound that it sparked my calling to study Traditional Chinese Medicine. After completing my Health Science degree, I trained in a Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital in China and continued my learning under two highly respected masters: Raymond Yu, an esteemed Yin Yang healer in Sydney; Master Guo, a 5th-generation Chinese acupuncturist in Beijing with over 65 years of clinical experience, with whom I continue to study today.
Now a fully qualified and registered acupuncturist, I returned to New Zealand in 2023 to open my own practice. My work is driven by a deep passion for Traditional Chinese Medicine.

What is Chinese Acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a time-honoured modality within Traditional Chinese Medicine, practiced for thousands of years. This method utilises fine, hair-thin needles to gently stimulate specific points on the body, enhancing the flow of Qi - our vital life force - with minimal discomfort. By restoring the smooth flow of Qi, acupuncture promotes balance and improves overall health.
Acupuncture can be used to treat a variety of conditions such as chronic pain, headaches, digestive issues, infertility, depression, insomnia and many others. Additionally, it has proven effective in alleviating symptoms related to medication side effects, such as nausea, oedema and diarrhoea.

What is Yin Yang Healing?
Yin Yang Healing is a non-invasive ancient technique practiced for over 5,000 years. This exceptionally gentle and effective method is designed to meet the unique needs of various individuals. During a session, the practitioner utilises gentle touch, pressure, and massage on specific areas of the body, including the abdomen, hands, wrists, legs, and spine, to harmonise energy and restore balance.
This therapy is particularly suitable for children, individuals with blood clotting disorders, and those who prefer non-invasive treatments. Yin Yang Healing offers a safe and nurturing option that addresses specific health concerns while promoting overall well-being.

Why are Chinese Acupuncture and Yin Yang Healing Used Together?
The combination of Chinese Acupuncture and Yin Yang Healing allows for a comprehensive approach to address specific needs and promote balance. By integrating these two therapies, a wider range of benefits can be achieved more efficiently and effectively compared to using each therapy alone. The therapies work synergistically to support the body's natural healing mechanisms and promote holistic well-being.
